Hey guys! I just wanted to take a few minutes to do a quick little “personal” post. I know you guys have been seeing a lot of features on the blog, so I thought I should do a little post to tell you a bit about stuff going on behind the scenes
If you follow us on Facebook you probably see a lot of previews from weddings, a lot of posts about doing lots of editing, and most definitely posts about coffee. Lots going on with the Barrs these days! Never did we think we would be THIS busy this year like we are right now. It’s so exciting and overwhelming all at the same time, but we are thankful for every bit of it. Lots of prayer (plus some blood, sweat and tears lol) has gone into this business and I have no doubt that is why we are where we are right now. Last year the lesson was “patience and trust” and this year is filled with all kinds of other lessons… lessons in love… lessons in finding the balance and keeping focus where it needs to be…. I’m thankful for the lessons, even though they are never easy to go through. Each lesson is prepared for us so that we are able move on to the next step in life.
We are so excited about wedding season this year! So far we have had such a blast, met some amazing new people, and we’ve seen some beautiful weddings. Very excited about what’s to come!
So what’s new? We’ve upgraded to the Mark iii camera bodies, added a few amazing lenses to our collection, and also added some other important pieces of equipment. As professionals, we feel it’s important for us to stay on top of things and keep up to date on our equipment so that we can get the absolute best images, and use the absolute BEST equipment to capture your wedding day.
Oh, and guess, what? It’s getting HOT outside! Were you guys outside yesterday in that 90-something degree weather? We were! I’m happy that summer is finally here though. I think we are officially done with the cold days.
Thanks to all of you who have been patient with us while we wrap up your photos. You all have been so good to us, and we appreciate each and every one of you! We truly believe we have the best clients (aka: "friends") ever
