“Greyson proposed the night before I was to run a race. It was definitely completely our style. I opened the door to Greyson and all he was holding was a bouquet of my favorite flowers. I asked what the flowers were for and he said that today was a special occasion, and asked if I knew what that occasion was. He then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I of course reacted confused and mad and proceeded to yell at him and tell him how unfunny this was and to get up! It wasn't until he pulled the ring that I knew this was not a joke. I quickly turned my annoyance to joy and said yes!” – As told by Ellen
Ellen and Greyson decided that it would be very special to go back to where it all began. So they had their ceremony at the St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church on Lenoir Rhyne University's Campus.
(Quite possibly the sweetest flowergirl... EVER.)
